"There is no more lovely, friendly, and charming relationship, communion, or company than a good marriage." Martin Luther

I wholeheartedly agree. Friends and family can be wonderfully beneficial and pleasant and those relationships give one the opportunity to be a beneficial and caring friend as well. But the intimate love and deep friendship possible in a good marriage has not been matched by anything in my life except my relationship with my Savior. Reading the teachings of Jesus, and of Paul and the other NT writers, I think that is as it was designed to be.
